I was ill, classes cancelled last weekend. I am ready to hop back on the horse. Having completed a visit to the CollegeBoard in NY, I came back with a few old tests which I shall give my students. Though the few results I got back from the August exam has shown some delightful results. We are enthused.
Montego Bay worked hard, we are happy about their results.

Greetings from Vassar College! The Office of Admission is excited to announce that the application for our annual Vassar View program is live and currently accepting applications! Vassar View provides an in-depth understanding of the College to high school seniors from backgrounds that have often been overlooked and underrepresented at the nation’s most selective colleges and universities, such as students from ethnically diverse backgrounds, students who will be the first in their family to complete a college education, and those from families with limited financial resources. The virtual program will be held on Saturday, October 30 from 1-4:30 pm. Participants will have the opportunity to meet current students, hear about campus resources, and learn more about what makes Vassar unique. The deadline to apply is Friday, October 1. Invitation to Customizing Your U.S Degree with Assumption, WPI and Bryant
Greetings from New England! We hope that you, your families, and your students are well. We are writing to invite you and your students to a webinar on “Customizing Your U.S Degree”. This presentation will provide insights from a liberal arts, business, and STEM universities on how students can shape, customize, and maximize their degree in the United States. Assumption University, Bryant University, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute will be jointly hosting the session on September 15th at 7:00PM and on October 14th at 8:00AM local time (Eastern Daylight Time). This 45-minute session will include current students from each school sharing how they have successfully customized their degree to best position themselves for future career success. Fall Welcome
Dear Colleague, I wish you well as another school year begins! As our classrooms once again fill with students, I am filled with gratitude. Thank you for the personal care you have provided so many students, who inspire us every day to live with hope. It's a busy time here on the Le Moyne Heights. We are pleased to once again host prospective students at Fall Open House, starting this Sunday, September 19. Le Moyne continues to rise in the U.S. News & World Report college rankings, following record-setting applications for admission. The Keenan Center awarded thousands in development funds to student entrepreneurs, and men's lacrosse won its sixth national championship. As in years past, our Early Action (non-binding) deadline is November 15. Students who apply by this date receive priority scholarship consideration, and they will be among the first to receive an admission decision on December 15. The deadline to apply for our Direct Entry Physician Assistant Programs is November 15. We remain test optional for all programs of study. I look forward to working with you in the year ahead. Project Mentorship for High School Students by MIT Graduates
Hi Sandra, Hope your academic year is off to a great start at Kingston 8! This is Aidan from Inspirit AI, the AI education program taught by Stanford and MIT graduate students for middle and high schoolers. I'm writing to inform you of our "AI + X" project tracks– interdisciplinary AI project opportunities for students to apply an AI toolkit to music, arts, economics, healthcare and more under the guidance of one of our AI mentors. Artificial intelligence continues to transform countless industries and domains as new technologies develop in both STEM and the humanities. Our project-based curriculum allows students to learn AI fundamentals while exploring a domain that they're passionate about. A few examples include:
AI + Music: Music Recommender– learn to build recommendation systems that power Spotify, Netflix, and more!
AI + Arts: Sketch Recognition– explore the importance of sketch recognition and the algorithms behind it.
AI + Law: Criminal Justice– build models to detect racial bias in the criminal justice system.
AI + Healthcare: DNA Detectives– trace the origins and spread of COVID-19.
The application deadline is September 30th. Whether students enjoy computer science or not, they will gain an invaluable experience that combines technology education with social good– no prior programming experience needed.
