General Information
Consultation?
These are sessions in which the applicant receives counseling and guidance on the application process from choosing a list of schools to essay editing, financial aid and visa applications. Students can either pay for the full consultation package, which allows them to schedule unlimited consultations throughout the application year, or do consultations on a pay per session basis.

Payment
We accept only 3-part payments, first part should be paid prior to the beginning of classes; however, if requesting a payment plan, your credit card information will be required and an automatic deduction agreement signed, in order to guarantee sessions.
Fees can be paid at the office (card machines are available) or at the JMMB (vouchers for payment can be picked up at the office).
We accept payment in US dollars or the Jamaican equivalent (determined by the exchange rate for the day).

Program Descriptions & Pricing

VERSAN SAT PREP (Classes alone)
Students take classes in Critical Reading, Mathematics, and Writing. English classes focus on vocabulary, sentence structure, and comprehension. Mathematics classes focus on pre-algebra, algebra, proportion/ratio, geometry, and trigonometry.​

VERSAN SSAT PREP PACKAGE

Students prepare for the boarding school admissions exam through practice in verbal, quantitative, and reading comprehension sections. The 3-month course covers SSAT creative story writing, number concepts, algebra, geometry/measurement and data analysis/probability.
Admissions overview

Explaining the admissions factors for the program for which the student has demonstrated interest.
Application help

Assisting with essay writing, standardized testing, form completion, resume writing, and certification of finances.
Financial aid assistance

Identifying institutional financial aid opportunities, institutional scholarships, and external financial assistance.
Visa processing

Assisting the student with passport and visa applications if necessary.
'Inside information'
-
Giving information about national customs, school traditions, what to bring to dorm rooms and how to prepare for differences in climate.
After the first consultation, students are given Versan guidance folders, which offer general information and personalized assistance to help the student succeed.
