The pandemic led to a crazy outcome. International students suffered greatly. Was it the need to restrict travel, vaccinations, scholarships?
On every level, we heard record-breaking number of applicants applying. Test optional lent itself to the curve. When certain schools were only admitting 4%, going after full paying candidates, international students fared the worst.
Yet we still saw scholarships, but fewer. We saw the need for more student loans. I have been meeting with families to sort out all financial snafus. I am even initiating Plan B for some students: a second round of schools with later deadlines.
The music rolls on and I believe in second chances. Come on in.
