THE WEEK OF VISITS

The Caribbean Boarding School has come and gone. This week we saw the likes of 4 Canadian universities, on Monday and Tuesday nights of this week.

I was accustomed to St. Thomas, Huron at Western, as well as St. Mary’s. St. Mary’s has had a long history with Versan students. Huron started with one Jason Forbes last year. St. Thomas has Hanif, former Head Boy of Ardenne, along with a past Immaculate student. But along comes McEwan University and we are thrilled at Versan. They have made it more affordable.

Do stop by the office and get these brochures to read. McEwan offers great majors in Business, Arts and Science, Fine Arts and Communication, Health and Community Studies. What I liked even more, was that with a strong CXC and CAPE background, one could pay a mere 10,000 CDN for the year. This is great.

SSAT STUDENTS

You all looked great in your interviews on Friday, particularly the well-dressed young men. Bravo for all that sartorial elegance.

APPROACHING EXAMS

This weekend, Mobay students are treated to more testing and a day of Maths on Sunday with Dr. Paula Gunter.

I hope the Kingston students are putting in the final touches before their exam.

Then comes Christmas....let me remind you, I am loving The Grinch of Christmas.

See you next week.
