I have a penchant for "smelling the rat" as in Hamlet's world....dissimulation, espionage, undermining stances.....my theory is that if you do good, you chase the hypocrisies away. I find it interesting that I had to stop printing our manuals as copies were being ferreted away....but I am flattered that I am being mimetically represented. It is an honour but also a burden.
In teaching our students, I simply pour in a bout of love, sweat and tears, the results usually flow. And should I add, loads of laughter and reading. With that, I can easily say that our success comes happenstance, but from a healthy classroom of open discussion, care and hard work by the students. No need to ape the style. Just nurture. Smile.
New SAT books arrived, oh happy day!
Ms. Russell has been representing me in Massachusetts at a boarding school tour. I suspect she is enjoying herself and keeping notes of new boarding schools. We will hear more for our blog.
