It was a fierce winter weekend in North CArolina where I attended the nuptials of past student ANIKIA NELSON NEE TUCKER. She is now Dr. Anikia Tucker-Nelson, so proud to say that. She married a wonderful person and I wish them all the best. a her former consultant, I am so thrilled to see and be a part of her journey from Immaculate to MIT to Duke Medical School. And now I rest my case...I salute her mother whom you may see serenading her daughter at the reception.....and boy, did we dance, though Sandra Samuels, my evil alter ego outdid me on the floor. So now we have Anikia's sister and we hope that Jhodi will excel in her own right and choose her own path. Hats off to you, Jhodi, excellent speech to the bride!
