Next Steps for Incoming Students
We're excited to welcome your students as they get ready to come to Carolina. They can find everything they need to know in our enrollment checklists including how to:
Register for orientation
Apply for housing
Submit any eligible test scores for college credit
Students on Waitlists will hear from us by June 30
Today, we offered admission to a small number of first-year applicants on our waiting list. Remaining students on our waiting lists will receive a final decision no later than June 30. We encourage students to send their final grades. However, we do not recommend that they send additional materials. For more information, students can refer to our Waitlist FAQs.
Project Uplift and Uplift Plus
In late April, we let students know they were selected for Project Uplift and Uplift Plus. Students have until May 27 to register for these programs. For Uplift Plus, a limited number of scholarships are available for students who need financial assistance. To apply, students should complete the Uplift Plus Scholarship Application by May 27. If you or your students have any questions, please email project_uplift@unc.edu.
