Early Acceptance Blog

And Matthew Hugh made it into Acadia University! I also see another acceptance hovering....for a boarding school applicant who wishes to leave in January 2020.

So, just to be annoying prick, I mention these acceptances to show my procrastinators that time waits on no one.

Let us complete the application process.

So I move towards the next phase- that of securing financial aid and scholarships. Our first workshop is September 29, Sunday, 3:30 at Stella Maris auditorium.

For SSAT parents: 3:30-4:00 pm

For SAT/LSAT/GRE/GMAT parents: 4:00-5:00 pm

5:00-7:00 pm: Meeting for new parents and students.

NACAC Conference

This conference is held annually for independent counselors, school counselors, colleges and universities. This year it will be held in Louisville, Kentucky. I will be away attending this conference to seek more scholarships, up-to-date information on the college scene.

I will be away from office, September 23-28.

MARATHON WEEKEND

This weekend, Saturday and Sunday, I will be in office from 10 am to 5 pm to assist those who need help "pushing the button." There are students who have issues with the essay for SAT....see me also. Sep 22 to 23. Marathon applications weekend!

The following weekend, we will host a Marathon Study session for the SAT exam. More details to come.

HEARTWARMING PICTURES

We are so grateful for the pictures from our past students. Warms our hearts to see them settled nicely!

CARIBBEAN BOARDING SCHOOL FAIR 2019

Thus far, several boarding schools have signed up to meet with our SSAT students on November 15.

Oregon Episcopal

The Hockaday School

The MacDuffie School

Wayland Academy

More are to come. Please do your research on the schools. Again, I remind all and sundry, the applications must go in before the sitting of the exam.
