Well, well, a few surprises, but not many.
The educational system in Germany and Amsterdam are enviably superfragilisticallyespialidocious. In essence, excellent, at low cost.
I am also impressed with the investment in teacher training, but most important, I am thrilled by the math education.
Jamaica has to make concrete changes. We have to have students test cxc Math in 3rd form, do Add Math by 4th with CAPE Math in 5th....if we are to play "catch up."
Minister of Education, help????
SAT ON SATURDAY
It is time. Heed all said in class. Avoid panic. Tickets, id's, calculators, erasers...you know the drill. Love you all. Do well. Slay!!!!
SCHOOLS
I mentioned schools for the SSAT students. Why not the SAT? I have landed on a few goldmines here in Europe. But I must say, Amsterdam conquered.
Here are a few gems:
ERASMUS
UNIVERSITY OF AMSTERDAM
GRONINGEN
UTRECHT
GERMANY: Heidelberg
I also discovered a great work study program in Germany, will advise further.
Again, good luck on Saturday, Sunday...
