
Keeping Humor During the Pandemic
I try to keep my students amused during the lockdown and stay- home situations from the physical classroom. Though we are bamboozled by the instability of white supremacists, role of the Black person in this tumultuous world, state of the future in education, shifting SAT dates and cancellations, the gloominess of daily news, the murders, domestic abuse of children and women, Covid vaccines, inability to follow rules thus endangering others, whew!...do I ever stop this list?

TODAY IS BOARDING SCHOOLS' WEEK
Today and tomorrow, I interview, by Zoom, a host of private boarding schools. There were a few pleasant surprises. With a Covid year, I had assumed that many would have suffered a major withdrawal in applications, thus a retraction on many things. But the surprise was short-lived. Congrats to Alex Cephas, our first SSAT candidate to receive an acceptance for this group to Wilbraham and Monson Boarding school in Massachusetts. So excited! Wilbraham and Monson is known for its business centered high school.
