I am traveling, ergo late posting of the blog. New York is freezing, but I am thrilled that we were able to do our Zoom call with the parents, students and teachers at Decarteret College. COVID FLIGHT Dilemma
So many students are returning to the US and Canada. It is time to do the Covid Negative test before boarding flights. At least on the 26th of January and thereafter. THE NEGATIVE COVID TEST BEFORE DEPARTURE
So many students who came home for Christmas and are headed back to university/school/college, whether it be the USA, Canada or the UK....must present a negative Covid test before embarking on the airplane. If one tests positive, one will be grounded in Jamaica until a negative test presents itself. The going rate as told us by one of our trustworthy parents is $JMD 20,000 per test. Oh dear! YEAR IN REVIEW
Covid struck. Online classes became the standard bearer. We were cautious as to how we would proceed during a pandemic. We held face to face classes then we resorted to Zoom classes. Teachers were elated for fear of the virus. The students continued to adapt. The disconcerting issue was the cancellation of test centers at the last minute. This reaction derailed the plans of many earnest students who wanted to sit the exam early and give their grades. A pity. Tsk, tsk
