So I made it to Mobay early this morning on good old Knutsford Express. Travelled leisurely down and back..
The staff had to attend the expo at Montego Bay Community College, so I had a busy tour in the office minus admin staff.

THE SCHOOL VISITS WEDNESDAY BLOG
The school and college visits have started. My recent tour secured 75 new boarding schools and fifteen universities. For the boarding schools I will be putting up the list of schools at the Kingston and Montego Bay offices so parents and students can come and look at the new schools and do some research. Folks, I am still reeling from all the ups and downs, schlepping across five territories, looking at schools over a 14 day trial: Germany, Amsterdam, Zurich, London, Toronto...in the crosshairs.... What I do know is that I have a bag of goodies, with new schools all tucked away behind my desk. I promise after I have uploaded a ton load of transcripts, I will get to those schools and post the list. So many insights, so many new avenues... So while you all have a great weekend

Well, well, a few surprises, but not many. The educational system in Germany and Amsterdam are enviably superfragilisticallyespialidocious. In essence, excellent, at low cost. I am also impressed with the investment in teacher training, but most important, I am thrilled by the math education. Jamaica has to make concrete changes.
